Nevena Vuksanović

Nevena was born in Belgrade in 1988. She completed an MA in Sculpture at University of Arts in Belgrade. Her works were presented on group shows abroad and on two solo shows in Belgrade.

I do art to speak of the state of inner transformation. I build objects making a relationship inspired by personal states, reflections, emotions, dreams, fears…My sculptures are a proof of personal maturing and perpetual inner flux.

The biggest challenge is the moment when I complete a work and have no idea for the new one.

Besides art I’m interested in philosophy, literature, nature, spirituality…

I live in Sremčica with my husband and our two children. I have a studio at our home.

I’d like to hear how the audience experiences my work and if there is a common frequency between us I’d like to connect to share experience and keep in touch.
